I recorded this using SAMANIMATION time lapse photography.

These photos show the progression through the charcoal drawing class to my final product.(last picture)

There is my initial sketch.(First attempt using charcoal)

Then one showing the negative space by blocking in the background only.

Next is a rather messy drawing in which we had to attempt drawing without looking down at our paper or allowing our eyes to wander from the still life model.

The next one is a tiny (about 6cm x 8cm) sketch I did to try to work out the perspective a little better. (Through that I finally worked out why the top of the glass and the lamp shade were not working.)

The last one is a detail of my final picture showing better perspective.

The large picture at the top is my final product.
